Two-shaft shredders are used for size reduction in solid waste processing, especially when light materials separated by air separation, such as waste plastic, paper, cardboard, old textiles, and similar materials, need to be cut down for RDF fuel preparation or further recovery. During the shredding operation, two slow-speed shafts work with moving and fixed cutters to grab, shear, and tear the material into the required output size. This type of waste shredder is also suitable for municipal solid waste, bulky waste, industrial waste, waste tires, e-waste, plastic, wood, and other solid waste materials that need stable coarse or fine shredding before the next treatment stage.

Features
Shredder Blades

Shredder Blades
Replaceable blade tips make maintenance easier, as worn tips can be changed without replacing the full blade set. H13 tool steel gives the blades good wear and impact resistance, while the hexagonal shaft connection helps distribute force more evenly during shredding.

Shredding Chamber

Shredding Chamber
Thick welded steel plates and reinforced ribs give the housing the strength needed for continuous processing of mixed and bulky waste. The enclosed structure also helps the shredder withstand impact during heavy-duty operation.

Drive System

Drive System
The fully enclosed drive system helps protect the transmission components and improves operating safety during long-term use.

Blade Design

Blade Design
The moving and fixed blades are assembled with a small clearance to improve shredding efficiency and help the material pass through more smoothly.

PLC Control

PLC Control
The PLC control system monitors motor current in real time. When an overload is detected, the shafts reverse automatically to release the load and protect the motor.
